On 9 July, IEEE SA and the Alliance for Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing in Africa (AISMA), a UNIDO initiative, launched a joint webinar series on Smart Industry for Global, Trusted, and Resilient Value Chains: Shaping the Road to Africa 4.0. The webinar series explores global value chains with a focus on the African context. It addresses both horizontal issues, including trustworthiness, safety and resilience, and sector-specific issues, such as semiconductors, biopharmaceuticals and textile.
