About IEEE Europe

Shaping the future of technology and innovation governance, standards, and global collaboration across policy, industry, academia and other ecosystem stakeholders.

What We Do

Opened in 2017, IEEE Europe is a hub for addressing European and global issues in technology and innovation. We bring a global perspective to European discussions while helping scale European initiatives worldwide. A key focus is standardization within technology governance. We work with policymakers, public institutions, industry, and universities to find practical solutions around governance, standards, and emerging technological challenges. By raising awareness of IEEE’s global offerings and perspective, and by developing new initiatives, we help shape discussions that connect technology with society.
